The Play Project Tournament Series is back for the Summer!
This is a 6 tournament series with a growing prize pool to be won at the conclusion of the series.
Players will have 5 tournaments to earn “Points”, PRIZES, and an automatic spot in the Top 8 of the Project Finale.
Entry for the first 5 tournaments:
Juniors and Seniors:(Born in or after 2009) FREE*
Masters: (Born in or before 2008) $10/tournament
Tournament Schedule:
Registration opens at 6:30pm
Tournament starts at 7:00pm

Trading Card Game:
Registration opens at 6:30pm
Tournament starts at 7:00pm
TCG Format:
Standard; 30 min +3 turns, Swiss rounds (no Top Cut)
The Project Finale will also have a guaranteed Top Cut of 8.
-Decklist will be required
-Online decklists can be submitted to play@boisecardshop.com, but must be sent by 3:00pm the day of the tournament.
-Paper decklists will be collected during the registration of each tournament.
Video Game:
Registration opens at 6:45pm
Tournament starts at 7:15pm
VGC Format:
This Series will not be official VGC rules. All Pokémon, except Pokémon on the “Ban List” will be allowed to use.
Double Battles; Best of 3 Swiss Rounds
The Project Finale will also have a guaranteed Top Cut of 4.

-Team Sheets can be submitted to play@boisecardshop.com, but must be sent by 3:00pm the day of the tournament.

What is your entry fee used for?
-
20% tournament staff and venue fees
-
10% of each event will go to the Project Finale Prize Pool
-
70% goes to the weekly prize pool
-
~25% 1st Place
-
~15% 2nd Place
-
~5% 3rd & 4th
-
*everyone is guaranteed to walk away with at least a pack!
How to earn points:
-
Bring a friend (whether they play or not) = 3 points
-
Players will receive 1 point for each round played plus:
-
3 more points for each win
-
1 more point for each tie
-

Make a purchase of $10 or more at Deadly Seven Games = 3 points (once per player, per event).

Submit decklist/teamsheet via email = 2 Points
Points will be tallied up for each event of the 5 tournaments.
The 4 players with the most points after the 5 tournaments will get an automatic spot in the Top 8 of The Project Finale!
The rest of the players will be competing for the remaining 4 Top 8 spots during the swiss rounds of the Finale.
Tie Breakers:
In the case that we have multiple players with the same amount of Play Project Points after the 5th tournament we have come up with tiebreakers as follows:

Number of events attended.

Number of combined wins from the first 5 tournaments.

Total number of friends brought.

High dice roll, from 2 6-sided die.
*Juniors and Seniors will receive a pack for playing with a $0 entry fee, but can also upgrade to a paid ($10) entry to be eligible to compete amongst the Master division and have a chance at the Top 4 Prize Pool.
